Description

Creamy, tangy, and just a little spicy—Boom Boom Sauce is the ultimate dipping and drizzling sauce for everything from fries to rice bowls.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce

  • 1 tablespoon ketchup

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha or smoked paprika

  • Optional: A squeeze of lemon juice

Instructions

  • Scoop the mayo into a small mixing bowl. You want it to be creamy and smooth—this is your base.

  • Add the sweet chili sauce and ketchup. Stir them in until it’s all one color—kind of a rosy orange.

  • Sprinkle in the garlic powder. Give it a taste. Already pretty good, right?

  • Add your heat. If you’re using Sriracha or paprika, start small. Stir, taste, and decide if you want more kick.

  • (Optional) Add lemon juice. Not traditional, but I like a little acidity. Wakes it up.

  • Cover and chill. Let it sit in the fridge for 30 minutes if you can—it gets better as the flavors meld.

Notes

  • Use as a dip, sandwich spread, or taco drizzle.

  • Store in the fridge for up to 1 week in a sealed jar.

  • For a milder version, skip Sriracha and use smoked paprika instead.
